Velma Leilehua Tanaka, 57, of Keaau, Hawaii, a homemaker, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by husband James "Kimo"; son Kelson; daughters Kimberly Tittle, Heidi Avila and Kendra Moniz; brothers McKinley Jr. and Melvin Davis; sisters Juann Kai, Lena Mae Davis-Natividad, Angie Okimoto and Rochel Davis; hanai brothers Rudy and Nelson Kaupu; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Naalehu Assembly of God Church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire.
