Walter Kapuamohalanalani Kalei Sr., 84, of Kaneohe, a heavy-equipment operator and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Koko Head. He is survived by daughters Charmaine Chang, Tina Johnson and Donna Kalei; brothers Chris Kalei and Robert Haskell; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
