74Peter A. Soares, 61, of Kapaa, Kauai, a Kauai County Parks and Recreation retiree and Lihue Plantation employee, died. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Namnama "Nama," son Robert, daughter Crystal, mother Alma, brother Manuel and sister Veronica Colobong. Visitation: 9 a.m. Aug. 9 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
