Akira Murakami, 92, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service postal inspector and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Lynne Lee, Monica Overly and Merryl Young; sisters Nancy Arakaki and Dora Adachi; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services.
