80Teiji Sakanoi, 80, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Department of Water Supply lead foreman pipefitter, died at home. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Jane Y.; sons Russell H. and Aaron K.; daughters Jessie S. Bromley and Joyce Candaroma; brothers Tadao and Paul; sisters Michie Hasegawa, Tsukiyo Liu and Yaeko Vega; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Private services. No flowers.
