Stephen Thomas "Steve" French, 51, of Hilo, a CDL truck driver for Suisan and an Air Force veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Arcadia, Calif. He is survived by wife Lolly, father Thomas and brothers Ken and Doug. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Graveside services: noon Sept. 8 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire.
