NORMAN EVANS MARSH
9-4 NORMAN EVANS MARSH b&wNORMAN EVANS MARSH Oct. 8, 1952- Aug. 27, 2014 A Southern California native, Norm lived on the North Shore of Oahu for forty years until illness overtook him and brother Dan flew in to take him home to his family. He lived his dreams, an avid surfer, who loved baseball and fishing. His business was crafting surfboards. Norm's "StorminWaveblades" were a work of art and in much demand. Norm leaves a ton of friends in shock and sorrow that this could happen to hard charging, Stormin Norman. Mahalo and aloha to all his surfer and baseball friends. The gift of the signed baseball bat from his Royals Team, and the signed baseball from Team Baseballaz and all the cards and messages of love from surfers and baseball friends along with his tattered bible he received from his mom and dad at age 10 will be going along with him on this next journey. All your love and prayers for Norman are so precious to us, his family. We know they helped ease his way this past month. Thank you to the churches on The North Shore for all their prayers, extended family prayers, and Vitas Hospice for all their help and care. He leaves his mother, Joyce Marsh and Brother Dan Marsh of Westminster, Brother Stephen - Jackie Marsh, nephew Trenton Marsh, and nieces Leah and Kate Marsh of Huntington Beach, Nephew Ryan-Joey Marsh and their little ones, Jackson and Dean Marsh of Garden Grove, his many cousins, Special Friends, Ginny, Conrad and Mike and the host of surfing and baseball friends. Preceded in death - Father, Mel Marsh and sister, Paula-Marsh-Everett. Memorial Services will be held at Rose Hills of Whittier, in the Hillside Chapel Tuesday September 9th at 11:00 AM. Internment at Summit Lawn following service. Visitation from 5:00 - 8:30pm, Monday, Sept. 8th.
