Malcolm Kealoha Ahlo Sr.Malcolm Kealoha Ahlo Sr. Our beloved Malcolm, born June 20, 1942, of Palolo, was called home to our heavenly father on August 20, 2014. Malcolm was an active member of the Carpet, Linoleum and Soft Tile Union, Local 1926 for over 48 years. He was the Business Agent and leader of the Union for 32 of those years and retired in 2011. Over the years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching football. He was a big supporter of the Saint Louis Crusaders. Malcolm was ordained a Buddhist priest and taught Tai Chi at Daihonzan Chozen-Ji/International Zen Dojo. Malcolm had a big heart welcoming all into his home. He lived the true meaning of brotherhood. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, papa and friend. He will be forever in our hearts and always loved. Malcolm is survived by his wife Yvonne, daughter Melvon (Oscar); four sons Reginald, Malcolm Jr. (Leona), Ernest (Wendy), Shane Sr. (Brandie) and the late Buster (Evelyn), sister Irene Leong, 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Mililani Mortuary in the Mauka Chapel. Visitation is from 9am-11am. Services to begin at 11am. Please no photography or videos. Scattering of ashes will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Ka`a`awa at 51-390 A Kamehameha Hwy at noon. Casual attire.
