He is survived by wife Yvonne; sons Reginald Opunui and Malcolm Jr., Ernest and Shane Ahlo Sr.; daughter Melvon Ahlo-Pinera; sister Irene Leong; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
