74Michael Avelino Pilapil, 70, of Kailua-Kona, a pastor at Kona Community Assembly of God Church, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Arlene; son Lemuel; daughters Armi and Carrie; brothers Stanley and Lawrence; sisters Erline DeLeon, Lenora Dalapu, Elizabeth Nioso and Carmen Abear; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Church, Kailua-Kona. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Sept. 19 at the church. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park, Holualoa. Casual attire.
