SANTIAGO MONANILIA NAVIA, AKA JUNIOR SANTY KEAKAULAULOA Born Sept 19, 1938 born in Kuliouou, Oahu passed on April 20, 2014 in San Marcos, CA. He was a well known "Beach Boy" teaching Waikiki tourists to surf and was a tandem surfing champion. Santy was also a construction worker, mason, gambler, fisher. He served in the US Army. He was known for his humor and his amazing heart & will be missed by everyone who was blessed to be loved by him. He is survived by daughter, Kristen Kiele (Mike) Thomason; grandchildren, Benjamin Kai, Maya Kalani, and Lucas Kaleo ; siblings, William "Billy" Bray (Trixy) Gasper, Charles "Sonny" Edward (Verda) Gasper, Mary Kahope (Lannie) Berryman, and Franklin Navia; cousins; nieces; nephews & friends. Preceeded in death by sister, Frances Leilani Montgomery. Services will be held at Kualoa Beach Park on September 20 at 9 am, scattering of ashes and lunch to follow.
