Clyde Gouveia, 66, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a retired Honolulu Police Department officer and a Marine Corps veteran, died at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in North Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Janis, daughter Roselynn Rodaso, mother Rose, brother A. Roy, sister Genevieve Wheeler, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 8 a.m. Sept. 27 at St. John's Catholic Church, Kealakekua. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, Kailua-Kona. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
