Remigio Espejo "Emong" Quibuyen, 86, of Honolulu, a retired train mechanic supervisor for Philippines National Railways and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died at the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Moncada, Tarlac, Philippines. He is survived by wife Josefina C.; sons Chito, Edgardo, Remigio Quibuyen Jr., and Moises Catoggay; daughters Carolina Garcia and Marivic Benedito; sisters Gavina Quibuyen, Emilia Cariaga, Dominga Malacad and Catalina Dadural; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 640 Puuhale Road. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
