70Juan Sagap "Johnny" Rivera, 84, of Lakeland, Hawaii, a retired utility truck driver for Hamakua Sugar Plantation Co., died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Zapat, Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Margarita C., daughters Myrna Rivera-Baptista and Edith Rivera-Sleightholm, sister Matilde R. Ibe, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Waimea. Mass: 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Prayer service: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
