Virgilio Lazaro "Vir" Tabije, 88, of Waipahu, a purchase manager and a veteran of the Commonwealth of the Philippines Army, died in Waipahu. He was born in Cabangan, Zambales, Philippines. He is survived by wife Elisa; sons Rustom, Melchor, Gerry Josefelito and Luisito; daughters Myrna Gapasin and Titas E. Tabije; sister Antonina Rellama; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
