JASON OKA Jason Yukio Oka, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 20, 2014. He was born and raised in Honolulu, living the last seven years in Las Vegas. Jason was an avid golfer, achieving a hole-in-one. He happily served fellow golfers as an assistant golf professional and golf techin Seattle and Las Vegas.An ever-nurturing husband and father, and also a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and loyal friend. Survived by his wife, Christina (Horton); son, Micah; daughter, Annika; parents, Brian and Susan Oka; brother, Aaron; grandfather, Donald Oka; grandmother, Eiko Yoneoka; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by grandmother, Violet Oka. Viewing and funeral was held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Mountain View Lutheran Church in Las Vegas. A Celebration of Life service will be on Sunday, Sept. 28, 4:00 PM at Ko'olau (Golf Course) Ballrooms/Conference Center in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
