Norman Noboru Oshiro Sr., 77, of Kapolei, a welder at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 26 and an Army veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Barbara Jean; son Norman Jr.; daughters Marylou Koanui and Joann Oshiro; sisters Dorothy Moromisato, Margaret Miyashiro, Doris Kram, Betsy Kaneshiro and Becky Nakasone; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
