Benjamin C. Fernandez Sr., 81, of Wahiawa, a retired Oahu Sugar Co. employee and an Army veteran, died in Wahiawa. He was born in WaiÂpahu. He is survived by son Benjamin C. Jr., daughters Lynn U. and Jaclin N., hanai son Stephen Castro, brother John, sister Rose M., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
