Roman Pangelinan Perez
Sept. 5, 2014 Roman Pangelinan "Ray" Perez, 78, of Mililani, a civil service retiree, retired Army command sergeant major, member of the 187th Infantry-Rakkasans 101st Airborne Division and Purple Heart recipient, died in Mililani. He was born in Agana, Guam. He is survived by sons Van, George Jr. and Moses Kahumoku; daughters Sharleen Kahumoku, Maile Perez and Ramona Perez-Moreira; brothers Eddie Perez and Ignacio Pangelinan; sisters Sister Joseph Marie Perez and Juanita Quitugua-Castro; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 11 a.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
