79Magdalena Caban "Maggie" Macanas, 82, of Kahuku, a retired state Department of Transportation secretary, died in Kahuku. She was born in Kahuku. She is survived by sons Dalmar, Meldon and Aronne; daughter Arlene Zlotucha; brothers Alfredo and Simplicio Caban; sister Juanita Molina; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
