81Maximo Tabalanza Tagata, 87, of Aiea, a retired educator in the Philippines and a Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange salesperson, died in Aiea. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Trinidad; sons Marlito and Mansueto; daughters Marilou Tagata-Mindo and Maxilyn Tamasaka; brother Francisco "Frank"; and sisters Herminia Somera, Pascuala Ingan, Alejandra Palpallatoc, Erlinda Abdon and Julita Ramos.
