78Barbara Ann Mariano, 64, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired ward clerk at Hilo Medical Center, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Sydney W.; hanai son Edward "AJ" Asuncion; sister Caroline Cabral; and brothers Raymond, Bobby and Lance Cabral. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary.
