He is survived by wife Norma; son Joseph III; daughters Patricia Soares and Joliene Soares-Manago; brother Curtis Bee; sisters Violet Soares-Purdy, Yvonne Sanchez and Katherine Turner; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Valley of the Temples. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
