71Sosei Chinen, 85, of Kekaha, Kauai, a retired Kekaha Sugar powerhouse plant operator, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kekaha. He is survived by sons Randy, Mark, Ryan and Robin; daughter Marlene Matutino; brothers Dusty, Robert, Thomas and Eddy; sisters Mitsue Hammond and Irene Rhee; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Waimea United Church of Christ. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
