Victor John Haw-thorne, 89, of Honolulu, an Army colonel, died in Honolulu. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J. He is survived by son Randolph, daughter Victoria and two grandchildren. Inurnment: 8:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers.
