GERALD JERRY ALAN WHARTON Age 77, of Aiea, HI, passed away August 28, 2014 in Aiea. Born October 17, 1936 in Honolulu, HI. He retired as a supervising instrument technician at Hawaiian Electric. A member of the Kahua Baptist Church, Kapolei. A graduate of Leeward Community College. He is survived by wife, Priscilla "Penny" Wharton; son, Jay Wharton; daughters, Lisa Ann Cabang, Susan Cobbs; brothers, Edward, Roger, Tommy, Bobbie; sister, Sharon; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grand- children. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct 16) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Visitation also 10:30 a.m. Friday (Oct 17) at Mauka Chapel. Celebration of Life 11:30 a.m. Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday (Oct 20) at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
