75Dennis Gene Maeda, 67, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired maintenance supervisor for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., a retired heavy equipment mechanic and supervisor for Hilo Coast Processing Co. and a former Kohala Sugar Mill employee, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Valerie, sons Darren and Dion, daughters Marla Kahele and Liana Maeda, mother Rose, brothers Danny and Alvin, sisters Annette Reyes and Sylvia Maile Hussey, and nine grandchildren. Visitatation: 2 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Graveside services: 11:30 a.m. Monday at Alae Cemetery, Section K. Aloha attire.
