81Thomas Hauola "Ola" Kalani, 53, of Hilo, a former Hilo Coast Processing Co. crane operator, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by daughter Angelica Kawewehi; son Tristan Oliveros; mother Geri; brothers Gerard Kalani, Kelvin Peralto and Baron Ahulau; sisters Maile Estabillio, Leimomi Shearer and Karen Kalani; and nine grandchildren. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Nov. 23 at Onekahakaha Beach Park, Pavilion No. 6. Casual or beach attire. No flowers.
