HARRY V. GAYNOR, JR. Nov. 26, 1929 Oct. 3, 2014 He may be gone from our sight, But never from our hearts. Born in Ramsey, New Jersey, Harry spent most of his adult life in Hawaii. Arriving for the first time before Statehood, he made the islands a permanent home for his family when he retired from the U.S. Navy in 1968 and continued his career as a Computer Analyst with the Federal Government at Pearl Harbor A kind and gentle soul, he was deeply loved by his family and greatly respected by those fortunate to have crossed his path. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki, sons Joseph (Lori), and John (Marie Valencia); grandchildren, Zachary, Jennifer, Camile, and Zander Gaynor and Jessica Gaynor Morimoto; and great-grandchildren, Lavinia Vaka, Tessa Morimoto, Eleni Vaka, Niti Vaka, and Kasen Morimoto. Family and friends gathered in Ewa Beach on October 18, 2014 for a private service and the scattering of his ashes.
