Clifford Iwao Arinaga, 89, of Honolulu, a retired attorney and an Army veteran who served in the Counter Intelligence Corps in Japan, died in Hale Ola Kino. He was born in Kealia, Kauai. He is survived by wife Esther K., sons Bruce M. and Paul S., daughter Susan A. Li, brothers Robert N. and Tom, sisters Fujiko N. Mamura and Rachel T. Tamura, and eight grandchildren.
