SU CHON KIM A second-generation Korean- American, Su Chon was born in Waipahu and brought up in Honolulu, where she graduated from both the Saint Andrew's Priory School for Girls and the University of Hawaii. For many years, she was a teacher at the Ala Wai Elementary School, where she was a beloved friend to many of her students and to many of her fellow teachers. Su Chon was also the much-beloved and admired mother to three children - Glenn, Michael and Susan. She will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.
