Richard "Dicky" Salvador, 75, of Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. welder, and an editor and accountant for the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local No. 142, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Christine; sons Richard D. and Ryan K.; daughters Roxanne Keopuhiwa, Romy-Ann Salvador and Ronelle Kubo; brothers Alfred Jr., Rudolph, William, Warren and Antolin R.; sisters Alinor Apilando, Peggy J. Carmack and Gwendolyn Brogan; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
