Kenneth Ronald "Mickey" Loeffler, 81, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation administrator and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Vaughn; daughters Alana Hindle, Luana Wilson, Tania Phillips and Tamara Ching; sisters Leatrice Mahuna and Edna Mendonca; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 7. Aloha or casual attire.
