79Roland Kulakauka Mendoza Jr., 45, of Hilo, a forklift operator, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Shawna "Ipo" Loo; son Roland K. III; stepson Laird Loo; stepdaughter Tiani Loo; mother Katherine; stepmother Nadine Austin; brother Reno; and sisters Colleen Rezentes, Jessie Mendoza, Jennifer Omija and Rachael Silva. Visitation: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
