Stanford Wade Papas, 59, of Mililani, formerly of Chicago and Olympia, Wash., died in Waianae. He was an Army veteran, a former Pearl Harbor Naval Base police officer and custodian in the Bethel and Thurston county school districts in Washington. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by mother Margaret Maldonado; stepfather Antonio Maldonado; brothers Alfred, Earl and Patrick; and sister Mary Ann Abregano. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
