William Mamahi Sanford, 89, of Waianae, a retired Sheraton Hotel maintenance department employee and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons William, Brian and Todd; daughters Hedy Lou Rutkowski, Bonnie Perry and Deidre Sanford; sisters Georgia Kay, Sarah Bell, Kuulei McClung, Kuualoha Callnan and Lehua Nuuhiwa; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
