Tooru "Belly" Yugawa, 91,of Hilo, a Hilo Coast Processing Co. retiree and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Helen; daughters Shelly O'Heron, Linell Yugawa and Arlean Rohde; sister Helene Ochi; brother Megumi; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29 at Hilo Coast United Church of Christ, Honomu. Services: 10:30 a.m. Urn committal: noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Hilo Coast United Church of Christ or any charity.
