Epifanio Villia Batangan, 86, of Lihue, a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War and a retiree from McBryde Sugar Co. and the Sheraton Poipu Beach Hotel, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He is survived by San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Christina, sons Edwin and Reuben, daughter Elsie Perry and five grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Nov. 29 at Immaculate Conception Church, Kapaia, Kauai. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
