83Betty Tsuruko Uehara-Tamashiro Garcia, 97, of Paia, Maui, died in Kula Hospital. She was born in Kapaa, Kauai. She is survived by sons Franchot, Roy, Eugene, Richard and Steven Uehara; sisters Yasuko and Ann; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Private services.
