DR. HARUO KAMEOKA Age 92, of Honolulu, passed away October 18, 2014 in Honolulu. Born June 16, 1922 in Wahiawa. He graduated from Leilehua High School and attended U.H. Manoa and graduated from Washington University Dental School in St. Louis, Missouri in 1953. Practiced dentistry for 42 years in his home town in Wahiawa at the Wahiawa Medical Center of which he was a co-owner and manager for numerous years. An army veteran, served in the military at the Tripler Army Hospital. He has been a very active member during his career; A member of his 50th State Dental Club and served as president of the Wahiawa, Waialua Rotary Club (a member since 1957) also served as president of the Japanese Dental Society of which he was a member. He enjoyed golfing, a fan of all sports and belong to a number of golf clubs. An active member of the United States Army Golf Association for many years, Enjoyed comrade- ship of many and devoted friend to all. Traveled quite extensively throughout the world, both by land and ship. He is survived by wife, Esther T. Kameoka; daughter, Colleen (Stan) Kobayashi; sister, Fumiko Morisato; grandson, Scott Haruo Kobayashi; grand- daughter, Lauren Akemi Jaecks. Private Service Held. No Flowers. No Monetary Offering.
