Maleko Lu'uga Fagasa, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Dole Cannery employee and a Samoan high chief, died in Kailua. He was born in Niusuatia, Samoa. He is survived by sons Ioane "Lu'uga," Pulunone M. and Junior M.; daughters Pepe T. Mageo, Esther M. Gibson and EmeleV. Jaramillo; brothers the Rev. Siaosi Ieti Mageo, Sile, Sauilemau and Tipoti Fagasa, and Petelo and Setefano Silulu; sisters Faiisealofa Mareko, Selesitina "Lalago"Iosia and Taufou F. Lutu; 24 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. Visitation:5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Downtown Chapel, 20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu. Services:6:30 p.m. Additional visitation:8:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu. Mass:9:30 a.m. Burial:12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park, Waipio. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
