NEWTON DETRAY HARBOTTLE Age 72, of Kaneohe passed away on November 2. A 1960 graduate of Kamehameha Schools; He served 35 years with the Honolulu Police Department. He received a Master's degreee from Chaminade University in Criminal Justice Administration. He is survived by sister Tiona N. Wailehua (Harold), step mother Carinthia K. Harbottle (preceded in death by) - father Isaac Hakuole Harbottle, mother K. Nadine Harbottle, brothers Isaac K Harbottle and Myron K. Harbottle; nephews and nieces. Services will be on Saturday December 6, 2014 at Community of Christ Church (Makiki) 1666 Mott Smith Drive Honolulu 96822; Visitation 9:30 - 10:30 Celebration of Life 10:30. Scattering of ashes at a later date. Aloha Casual attire; No flowers.
