74Ronald Mitsunori Yamagata, 78, of Waianae, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard machinist, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Janet S.; sons Blane and Byron; daughter Barbi Shinno; brother Philip Yamagata; sisters Nancy Unemori, Janet Shigematsu and Leatrice Tanaka; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
