Confessor "Confe" Riveira, 90, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a retired coffee and macadamia nut farmer, and a veteran of the Army and Merchant Marines who served in World War II, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Wailuku. He is survived by wife Ethel; sons Patrick, Lionel and Bernard; daughters Sandra and Linda Valencia, and Gloria Riveira; brother Albert; sister Susie Van Winkle; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Dec. 20 at Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 77-165 Lako St., Kailua-Kona. Services: 9 a.m. Inurnment to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
