Walter Seaman "Wally" Palmeira, 81, of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai, a Coast Guard veteran and retired self-employed musician, died at home. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai. He is survived by companion Nardeen "Polei"; daughters Cynthia "Cyndy" Racca and Waldeen and Darleen Palmeira; brothers Jimmy and Ernest; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: Jan. 10 at St. Catherine Church in Kapahi, Kauai; viewing begins 8 a.m. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
