79James Elbert "Jimmy" Reynolds Sr., 78, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired heavy equipment operator and a master diesel mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Plantation Co. and a Honokaa diesel mechanic shop owner, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Hamakua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Priscilla J., son James "Jim" Jr., daughter Julie Ann Truchan and sister Jeanette R. Santos. Celebration of life and scattering of ashes: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Kawaihae boat ramp. Casual attire. Loose flowers welcome. Potluck to follow.
