80Mary Ellen Des Jarlais, 97, of Honolulu, a professor, died in Honolulu. She was born in Spring Valley, Wis. She is survived by sons Don, David, Dennis and Dean; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Burial: 1 p.m. Wednesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
