75Helen Haruyo Tanioka, 86, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a former Kamehameha Garments/Pomare employee, died in a care home in Hilo. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by daughter Lucy Kidd, brother Ernest Shintaku, sisters Nancy Okunami and Janet Kina, and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Puna Covenant Church in Keaau. Services: 10 a.m. Graveside committal services for Helen and her late husband, Junji Tanioka: noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
