Allen Lee Villon TuazonALLEN LEE VILLON TUAZON Age 33, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on November 22, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a gradute of Punahou School class of 1999. He attended Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana where he completed his under graduate studies with majors in Political Science, Classic, International Studies and Arabic. He was enrolled at Stanford University in 2004 but left to teach English abroad. He graduated with Masters Degree in Criminal Justice at Cincinnati University in 2008 as the top of his class. At the same year he enrolled at Ohio State University to pursue his Masters Degree in Islamic Studies. He was a PH.D candidate with expertise in Islamic Studies, Quranic Justice, and Jurisprudence and was looking forward to graduating in 2015 when he passed away on November 22, 2014 3 days before his 34th birthday. He was a professor in Arabic in the Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He has passion for learning different languages. Besides Filipino Tagalog and Ilocano, he speaks and write Spanish, speaks and writes Arabic. He also speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese, Russian, French, German, Greek and Pashtun (spoken in Afhganistan and Pakistan). He was still working on his Farsi language (spoken in Iran) and Hindi (spoken in India) at the time of his passing. He was a member of: PHI KAPPA PHI National Honor Society, ALPHA PHI SIGMA National Criminal Justice Honor Society, 2010 BARBARA HANAWALT Award for Excellence in Publication at Ohio State University. He will be greatly missed by his loving and caring family and friends here in the island and on the mainland USA, many relatives in the Philippines and all over the globe. He is survived by his loving mom and dad Alfredo Lumauag Tuazon Jr and Alma Villon Tuazon. Grandparents Fil B. Lumauag and Jean Lumauag. Grandpa and Inspiration Dr. Robert C. Marvit, MD. Memorial Services at Mililani Memorial Park Waipi'o Mauka Chapel on January 5, 2015 from 6pm - 9pm; Funeral Mass Services will be at St. Joseph Church in Waipahu on January 6, 2015 from 9am - 12pm.
