Gertila Pualeilani Kaanapu, also known as Gertila Pualeilani Parker and “Gerti,†79, of Pearl City, an Army veteran, died in HonoÂlulu. She was born in HonoÂlulu. She is survived by sons Donald Sr. and Harold, daughters Colette Kaanapu and Rosette Carter, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. Jan. 8 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Flowers welcome.
